CBS Outdoor Rolls Out the Cube

In keeping with its announced strategy to build out more digital out-of-home properties, CBS Outdoor announced Tuesday the launch of a unique digital billboard on the corner of one of the busiest corners in Times Square. Dubbed the Cube, the18-panel sign covering 4,000 square feet resembles a Rubik’s Cube (or Borg ship, depending on your preference). It’s two faces at 42nd Street and 8th Avenue, each sport one full-motion LED screen surrounded by 8 light boxes, with multiple LED light zippers that continually redraw the Cube.
